Our little 5th grader, Kaylie is an unbelievable lil swimmer. Her coach is putting her up against 8th graders and she's keeping right up with them. Her fastest event is the freestyle. She just glides over the water. It's amazing. She often competes in the 100 meter im which is one pool length doing the butterfly, swimming back doing the back stroke, across the pool again doing the breast stroke, then back doing freestyle. When she competed in the 100 meter freestyle she competed against 6th through 8th graders and took 2nd place, being the youngest & smallest swimmer from either team.

Sarah, Kaylie, Hannah & Taylor: Their first meet was Saturday, January 9, 2010. Kaylie is one of the youngest competitors on the Panther team and she's kickin' butt 'n taking names.

Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas

We went to Grandma & Grandpa Horman's ward Christmas party . . . and low and behold Santa & Mrs. Claus were there!!! Funny thing is though, they looked and sounded an awful lot like Grandma & Grandpa. I guess when you get older ya'll start looking and sounding the same I guess. The food was wonderful and the company was great. We forgot our camera so I pirated these from Laura's (Darrin's Girlfriend) facebook. Eric brought his camera and left it with Patti while he went to a Texas Hold'em Poker Tourny (Hum guess there's one name on Santa's naughty list) so when Eric gets the pictures posted that Patti took I'll post those too! I just love spending time with family. It was wonderful!!!

One week of cold weather and I'm already ready for warm weather. Michelle brought her camera over and let me down-load her pictures and here are some of the cute picts I found. This is Kaylie during the 4th of July holiday at Grandma & Grandpa Horman's house.

Graycie's Favorite Toy!

Graycie's Christmas list consists of Boxes. Just plain, old, empty BOXES!! She has so much fun with boxes!! She never has this much fun with any of the toys we've bought her! Here she is with an empty shoe box...It's so much fun to watch her when she doesn't think anyone is watching.

Our Sweet Graycie Brielle Palmer turned 1 year old on September 8th. We had her pictures taken to celebrate, but she sure wasn't in the mood!! After several failed attempts to capture the perfect smile, we through in the towel, took her home let her chill then took her back and tried again. We got a couple sweet smiles outta her, but the picts of her being serious are so sweet too. What are the chances that my last little baby would be born on exactly September 8th? I just know she's our special spirit that was meant to come down from heaven to make our life complete!

Tinkle Time

Oh Graycie is so proud of herself especially when she gets tons of praise for tinkling in the toilet. Maybe because she has the entire family in there with her, silently waiting for a splashing sound. Then we all go crazy when she does. This is the second time we've put her on the potty chair and both times she's tinkled. WOW, never though we'd get so excited about pee!!

YAY My Laptop is back!!!

Yay, we are soooo glad to have our laptop up and running again. Sent it in for warranty work and they replaced the whole hard drive. We've been busy this summer, but always keep the camera close. Darrin is working 90 hour weeks in spud harvest right now isn't even half done. Derek just quit working the dreaded night shift at Walmart and is now working as a "Companion" type person helping children with special, developmental needs. Raycie is back to school in Twin Falls. We've sure enjoyed having him all summer and miss him bad. Especially lil Graycie. Her face just lights up when she sees him. Kaylie has been "way" busy too. She has been back to school a month now. Last year she took dance lessons and this year she is taking fiddle lessons and is in a children's choir. Aunt Patti just invited her to join the swim team with Taylor too. She'll love that. She and Taylor are just like fish! And pulling up the rear is our sweet (independent) baby Graycie. She thinks she should do everything her 10 year old siblings do and often tries doing so. She was taking steps before her first birthday which was on September 8th and now she cruises all over the house. She is giving sooo many loves and kisses to everyone. She'll even blow kisses. She loves loves loves exploring Grandpa Horman's yard. There are so many things to eat. Apples and plums are her faves!! Graycie sharing her apple with Momma

Today Momma bought a "Dora" potty chair to start getting Graycie used to it and guess what...
She tinkled in the toilet the first time on the chair!! YAY for Graycie!! At just barely a year old!

When Graycie's second top tooth was ready to poke through her gum she kept sticking her tongue out. Maybe it made her gums feel better or she just liked the feel of her new tooth?

Just days after her birthday we dressed Graycie up in this cute little outfit and had her pictures taken. Well at least tried to get them taken. She had the runniest lil nose (that darned top tooth I suppose) and was ORNERY and GRUMPY to the point where we left for a few hour and came back after her nap. We STILL haven't gotten the pictures back so as soon as we do we'll post 'em
