Here's another sweet video of Graycie talking. She says Elmo really well but my favorite word is "Oscar" love the way she says it. Reminds me of how Steve would call his novelty slippers, "Occer Lippers!"

February in Review - 2010
We have a vent in the kitchen that allows the warm air from our pellet stove to rise into the kitchen. Graycie LOVES playing with it. She'll throw things down there all the time. The big kids like it because when we have a party here, they like to pour water through the whole to the unsuspecting victim below. Whenever I'm down stairs folding clothes, she'll peek down and smile at me. She loves being able to look through there to see what's going on below.
Kaylie has a turtle named Turtley. The cage is pretty big and she's been really into rearranging her bedroom and wasn't finding just the right place for her turtle cage. Rayce just moved into an apartment in Idaho Falls and had to give away his two dogs. Kaylie felt bad for him so she decided to give Turtley to Rayce so he wouldn't have to go without a pet! Ah and Dad captured in pictures. The first pic is her surprising him, then he gives her a hug. Finally, he calls his mom to tell her the exciting news!

Graycie talking!!
Graycie's FAVORITE thing is to read books. Every night instead of getting out all her toys, she goes for the books. One by one she'll bring them to us to read. She will repeat everything you say. Sometimes not very clearly and other's, clear as a bell. Love this stage of life!!!

Yay, family day skiing!! The school had ski night last night and because Scott & Ryan came up to go ice fishing, they got to go skiing with Eric, Brady, Preston & Kaylie!! I wish I could have been there cuz I would have gotten tons more pics!! =( So I'm sure all the anxious skiers would have been annoyed! So here a the few pictures Brady was able to capture before they tackled the hill!! The coolest thing about the "Horman" junior skiers is just that. They are ALL SKIERS, not boarders so they can all keep up with one another. Not that they stayed together but its cool that they all ski!

Here's the crew!! Preston, Ryan & Kaylie. Brady, Eric & Scott!! Woot Woot, what a goodlooking crew!! Just missing Steve & Brett!! Maybe next year!!

While they were there, Brady, Scott & Eric stopped to talk 1/2 way down on the face. Suddenly a boy leaned forward and fell off the chair lift, landing on his face. He must have been scared because Brady says he was thrashing around as he slid down the hill. Brady, having worked at Snow Bird as an instructor years ago, took off towards the injured child as he continued to slid downward. The get him stopped Brady had to ski just below him getting his legs wrapped around his, then Brady dug his ski in to get them both stopped. His face as all bloody and he was scared to death. He pleading for nothing to be broke. He didn't want to go to the hospital. He began complaining that his wrist was hurting, so Brady had him elevate his arm by resting it on Brady's leg. Two ski patrollers passed on the lift overhead and asked if he was ok and Brady said, "No, he just fell off the chair lift." They radioed for help and help came running up from the bottom. Eric gathered up the poor little guy's equipment as the ski patrol got the boy on the toboggan. Brady, Scott & Eric follow them down to fill out an accident report. Brady says that when they took his glove his wrist was so swollen and most likely broken. =( Brady has such a compassion for children and I'm so proud of him for taking control of the situation and being there for that child, making him as comfortable as possible.
